Video: Hitman: Absolution Trailer

Tons of trailers have come out today, and that includes a teaser for the latest chapter in the Hitman series, Hitman: Absolution. Check out the video after the jump.

Video: Tekken Blood Vengeance Teaser Trailer

(Notes: I really struggled to find words to describe this epic trailer.)

Finally, Katsuhiro Harada announced their latest project. It's not a new game folks, but its a brand new Tekken CGI film! Entitled "Tekken: Blood Vengeance", this will be an action-packed, epic CGI film to watch out for!

This time, Namco Pictures will be at the helm of the production,  and top names in CGI and anime will be behind the film. The film will be directed by Namco's own Youichi Mouri, the guy behind Tekken 5 and 6's opening cinematics; Dai Sato of Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, will be behind the screenplay; and Digital Frontier, the guys behind Resident Evil: Degeneration will handle production.

From the looks of the trailer, an epic battle between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima will ensue, causing tons of mayhem and destruction, and knowing Namco, I bet this film will be as epic as the series itself. This is a really good move for Namco as they will have more say on the story and production, compared to last year's shitty Hollywood Tekken movie.

It will be coming out Summer of 2011, so its really soon and I hope it will be coming out in the Philippines as well. It will also be shown in Digital 3D, so wow, Bravo Namco!

News: Need For Speed The Run Announced, Due for November Release

The next Need for Speed Game has already been announced! Entitled Need for Speed The Run, players will be taken to an illegal, high stakes race across various U.S. states, from San Francisco to New York. You will traverse icy mountain paths, dense urban centers, as police forces relentlessly chase you down. Are you up to the task?

Video: Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Capcom is taking the Resident Evil franchise to a whole new direction. Entitled "Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City", the game takes place during the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3. With the Umbrella Corporation needing a clean up job after the T-Virus outbreak, players will take the role of an Umbrella Security Service soldier, eliminating all zombies, survivors, and key targets including Leon Kennedy. Here's the latest trailer:

Unveiled during Captivate 2011, the game will be a third person team based shooter, a very notable change for the series. Operation Racoon City will feature a campaign mode, team based multiplayer modes,  and competitive online play. Players will also be able to relive classic RE2 and RE3 moments in a different perspective. 

The game is currently being developed by Slant 6 Games, the guys behind the SOCOM games series. Considering the plethora of shooters currently out, I think that this is quite a bold move by Capcom. But who knows? This might just serve as a fresh start for the franchise. The game will be out on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3, winter of 2011.

Video: Battlefield 3 - Full 12 Minute Gameplay Trailer

Pardon me for being really hyped and excited about this game, but EA and Dice have finally revealed the full gameplay trailer of Battlefield 3! If you've missed the earlier Fault Line series trailers, you better watch this instead. It's a full 12-minute trailer, and contains all gameplay features revealed so far, and extended cuts of the previous trailers. Go ahead and watch the video below.

Hopefully we'll get to see some more clips, particularly vehicle combat and the multiplayer. Crossing my fingers to that. =D

Video: Battlefield 3 - My Life Trailer

Here's the latest trailer for the highly anticipated Battlefield 3. This montage trailer pretty much gives a taste of what we can expect from the game. Snippets from the previous trailers are here, as well as hints of tank, chopper and fighter jet combat. So go ahead and watch the trailer below:

Video: Street Fighter x Tekken Cinematic Trailer and Updates

What happens when two of the best fighting game franchises collide? Namco and Capcom are working on it, and when it comes out, the explosion created will rival that of the big bang. Street Fighter X Tekken (the "X" is pronounced as "cross"), one of the most awaited fighting cross-overs is coming to consoles, and Capcom is kind enough to reveal a hair-raising cinematic trailer, and an awesome gameplay video (after the jump).

Video: Twisted Metal Release Date Revealed in Trailer

It just sucks when game trailers don't show up as advertisements in local Philippine television. Anyway, here's Twisted Metal's latest trailer, revealing some of the familiar Twisted Metal characters like Mr. Grim, Sweet Tooth, and a possible return of Calypso; and all the destruction and mayhem unleashed by the various killing machines they handle. The release date was also revealed, so check it out!



Prepare for some CAR-nage when Twisted Metal makes a comeback on October 4, 2011, exclusively on the PS3.

Video: InFAMOUS 2 - Quest for Power Trailer

Looks like Cole MacGrath of InFAMOUS will become more badass in the upcoming sequel, InFAMOUS 2. Check out the latest trailer, wherein he learns new powers beyond electricity. Telekinesis, fire, wind, ice; who can be more destructive and badass than that?!

Watch out for its release on June 7, 2011, exclusively on the PS3.

Video: Battlefield 3 - Fault Line Series Episode 3

Here's one of the newest clips of Battlefield 3's gameplay trailer series "Fault Line". This time, the clip showcases Battlefield 3's implementation of a quick time fight sequence, and fantastic rendering of an all too familiar gaming environment - vents. Also, watch bullets make impact craters as you pound the ground with an LMG, and see bullet casings rain from a hovering chopper above. And lastly, was that an earthquake?!

Video: Battlefield 3 - Fault Line Series Episode 2

Here's another episode of Battlefield 3's gameplay trailer series - Fault Line. This time, the trailer showcases more the destructive capability of the Frostbite 2 engine.. Watch how the the cover and the concrete is being torn apart by sniper fire, and watch out for the enemy sniper's ultimate fate at the end of the clip.

Video: Battlefield 3 Gameplay Trailer

Last week, EA and DICE revealed some teaser trailers for their upcoming Battlefield title, Battlefield 3. They must have figured that these were very short trailers, and so they released another one. This time, its a full length gameplay trailer unleashing the awesomeness of their new Frostbite 2 engine. Here's Episode 1 of the Fault Line trailer series: Bad Part of Town:



The graphical prowess of their new engine is really intense, taking the game to a whole new level of realism. The lighting effects (see those rays of light when they entered the building? and the dust?!) textures, and subtle details like the gun scratches are very realistically rendered. Even their movements also look so natural! The level of detail in this game is so amazing, I've never seen anything like this in any other game yet.

News: Update on FindMakarov.com Teaser Site! (UPDATED with Actual Video)

It has only been just a few days, but this site is actually causing quite a stir already. Today, the site has changed the countdown timer, and it now features a red radar blip motif. Aside from that, various sites have reported that this may not be related to a release of Modern Warfare 3 after all, but instead related to an independent, Call of Duty inspired project of a group named We Can Pretend. The primary source for this info is Geoff Keighley of Gameslice.com, who did some major sleuthing on this story. 

Video: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - Devil Kazuya and Another Trailer!

Phew, I'm back in the province, but the fun in this playground will never stop! (Despite the awfully slow connection) Anyways, here's a treat to Tekken fans out there. It seems that Devil Kazuya will be back in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2), and here's another trailer video to feed your anticipation. Looks like there will be a ton of characters in TTT2 and a ton of improvements, and as a Tekken fan myself, I can't wait to see this game to hit our shores.

News: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Gets new DLC this March

Ubisoft announced last Feb. 17 that a downloadable Content (DLC) for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 systems. Entitled "The Da Vinci Disappearance", the DLC is packed with both single player and multiplayer expansions.
