Soul Calibur VI Review (PS4) - A tale eternally retold indeed

After missing some sword-clashing action for almost 6 years, Soul Calibur makes a graceful return to form with its latest entry Soul Calibur VI, which is also its first outing in the current gen platforms. This latest installment acts as a reboot to the entire series, expanding on the story told in the original game, while retaining features that pushed the series further in previous main-line games. But will this retelling of the eternal tale of souls and swords stand out amongst the relatively fresher fighting games out there? Here’s our full review of Soul Calibur VI.

Post Day 1 ESGS Thoughts - Cover Your Ears Children, You Might Not Want to Hear This

This is just going to be a quick rant about ESGS Day 1, and perhaps about the entire PH gaming industry as well. Do let me point out though that I'm not in any way claiming to be an expert on the subject and the industry. What I'd like to do though is do a critique of the industry as a whole, and where we can probably take off and push the industry locally leaps forward. Though take this with a whole grain, or spoonful of salt even, as my comments can be a little on the salty side. And of course, this is a rant at 2:30 am in the morning.

WE HAVE A PROBLEM. And that as a Pinoy gaming community, we tend to stick heavily only to what's accessible and popular, which causes us to become unoriginal. There, I said it.

After sinking in almost 60 or so hours, there’s still plenty of stuff to do in this vast, open world Ubisoft has created for this latest installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. But is bigger necessarily better? Here’s my review of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Godzilla Dream Crate (Part 2 of 3)

This is a feature series on Dream Crate, a fan project with Lootcrate. This is part 2 of 3. Read part 1, The Master Assassin's Dream Crate HERE.

It has always been a guilty pleasure of mine watching big monsters fight, and there's no better way than choosing the king of monsters, Godzilla.

I've been a Godzilla fan ever since I got the opportunity to watch the original Japanese movie (1954), and since then, I've watched every Godzilla movies to date. Even though some were goofy and just plain stupid, I enjoyed them nonetheless. So here's my Dream Crate:
