Video: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - Devil Kazuya and Another Trailer!

Phew, I'm back in the province, but the fun in this playground will never stop! (Despite the awfully slow connection) Anyways, here's a treat to Tekken fans out there. It seems that Devil Kazuya will be back in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2), and here's another trailer video to feed your anticipation. Looks like there will be a ton of characters in TTT2 and a ton of improvements, and as a Tekken fan myself, I can't wait to see this game to hit our shores.

First off, Katsuhiro Harada (creator of the Tekken franchise), just recently posted on his twitter a video showcasing the return of Devil Kazuya. It appears that Kazuya can now freely transform from his normal form to devil form, even with a partner. In the last tag game, Kazuya can only transform to devil form if Devil is his partner. However, in this iteration, the only apparent changes in the transformation are the devil wings. He doesn't turn purple skinned, and I don't see any horns when he's in devil form. See the vid for yourself here in Harada's twitterand see his awesome wavedashing skills as well.

Next up, a very awesome trailer from AOU 2011 (Amusement Machines Operators Union trade show event in Japan). I'd prefer you watch it instead and see for yourself how awesome this game is gonna be. Here's the youtube video:

I've noted some things that I find worth highlighting in the video:

0:23 - A female wrestler character?
1:02 - Playable Jinpachi?
1:04 - True Ogre?!
1:08 - Really awesome tag moves!
1:13 - Return of JUN KAZAMA?!
1:50 - Destructible environment tag combos!
2:00 - New card system. I don't understand Japanese that much, but it seems that you can now save multiple characters in just one card.
2:46 - Item moves.
2:49 - A whole new level of Stonehead. Just freakin' hilarious!
2:54 - 1-2-3! That's just amazingly funny!
2:59 - Team play? I wonder how this will work...
3:12 - Live monitor feature. I'm stumped and clueless about this, but it seems like with the live monitor, players can watch matches happening around the world!
3:40 - Character modelling seems to have been improved.
3:57 - JUN!
3:58 onwards - JUST SHEER AWESOMENESS!

For those who can understand Japanese, please enlighten us by hitting the comments below, and we'll greatly appreciate your input. =) Anyways, this game has a lot in store for Tekken fans, and a lot of firsts for that matter! TTT2 will be released in Japan Summer 2011 (June - July - August).

Credits to Dani for the awesome find. :D
