News: Blonde FemShep Chosen as Official Mass Effect 3 FemShep

Yep it's official. Blonde female Shepard (FemShep) has been chosen by the fans in the recently closed Facebook Poll as the official FemShep to appear in the Collector's Edition boxart for Mass Effect 3. Yeah, I'm hearing all the cries and the outrage all over the web. But I gotta admit, she's looking quite hot. :)

Around last July, Bioware launched a sort of beauty pageant poll on Facebook: Female Shepard. "Like" the one you want in game!, wherein the FemShep out of the six designs with the most "likes" will be declared canon FemShep. The selected FemShep will also grace the cover of the Collector's Edition Boxart for Mass Effect 3, and will appear in her own trailer for ME3, as confirmed by Bioware's David Silverman on Twitter. After running for two weeks, the poll results are in, and Shepard 5, a.k.a. Blonde Shepard has been crowned official FemShep after gaining 30,000 Facebook likes.

I didn't vote in the poll, but I was actually rooting for blonde FemShep because I didn't like the other designs, and she was for me the best looking. I did like FemShep 4's hair though.

This is both good and bad news for me. Good, since I've been always the type who goes for the default male look, but hey, at least here's another default appearance that's more interesting to look at. :) (Though I play female versions of the protagonists in other games - better default selection I guess). Bad since I don't have a FemShep save. Darn.
