What's our dream unboxing experience? Well, it should be memorable. It should have stuff the WE WANT and LOVE. And of course, stuff that are so awesome we'd rant about it without end! And it was such a pleasant surprise to receive a note from Loot Crate, saying they'd love for us to share what we think is an epic unboxing experience.
For those who don't know yet, Loot Crate is this awesome subscription service where they send you crates of an assortment of epic geekery monthly. They told us about a fan project called "Dream Crate", where fans from all over the world can share their own dream team of assortments in their crate.
So if there's anything we'd love to unbox, it's this - a collection of items that we ourselves put out all our thoughts in. And we're not just gonna come up with 1 - we have 3 Dream Crates that we would love to unbox someday. Here's part 1 of 3 of our Dream Crate feature:
The Master Assassin's Dream Crate
I'm a huge fan of Assassin's Creed. I got so engrossed with the lore and no matter how much hate the series gets because of its modern-day meta story, I love Assassin's Creed. In fact, I've got Platinum Trophies in all main series games, except Rogue, Liberation, and Chronicles. So for this particular Dream Crate, I'm making sure each of the main series era will be represented in this crate, and any fan of the series would surely love this too.
1. Assassin's Creed - Altair Vinyl Figure
First up on my list the OG Assassin Altair in this adorable Pop vinyl figure form. No Dream Crate will be complete without these adorable figures waiting to be unboxed. If it we're up to me, I would have filled my Dream Crate full of Pop vinyl figures of the main characters because they're so awesome to collect, but I saw tons more epic items for the rest of the series that any fellow Assassin would love to have in their collection.
2. Assassin's Creed 2 Brotherhood - Ezio's Hidden Blade
No Assassin should go out unarmed - thus it's best to arm yourself with a replica of the hidden blade wielded by none other than Master Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze
3. Assassin's Creed 3 - The Medallion
Serving as the pivotal plot device in Assassin's Creed 3, The Medallion is a perfect accessory to go with your daily gear. The Medallion is not just a necklace, but an artifact that is the key to opening up the New York Grand Temple. Originally stolen by Haytham Kenway, it is eventually retrieved by his Assassin son Connor Kenway. It is then used by Desmond Miles in the modern era to open up the temple that enabled him to save the world, but at the cost of his life.
4. Assassin's Creed Black Flag - Edward's Pirate Flag
Nothing strikes fear like a flag does, well at least during the swashbuckling era. Seeing the titular black flag fly in the distance means Edward Kenway and his Jackdaw are ready to unleash hell in the seas. Unleash that same fear on your enemies and fly the flag proudly Assassin!
5. Assassin's Creed Unity - Guillotine Bottle Opener
Once made available as a pre-order bonus for Assassin's Creed Unity, this guillotine bottle opener is a must have for any Assassin's Creed collection.Perfect for decapitating bottle, after bottle for a night of drinks with fellow Assassins. Get it? De-CAP-pitation?
6. Assassin's Creed Syndicate - Assassin's Creed Underworld by Oliver Bowden
Unfortunately for me, I haven't gotten into reading any of the Assassin's Creed books by Oliver Bowden. I heard they're particularly good, and most of them have good reviews over at Amazon. If I were to pick a book I'd give a go, it would be this - Assassin's Creed Underworld. The book tells the story of Jayadeep Mir, a.k.a. Henry Green who we meet in Assassin's Creed Unity as an informant and guide for the Frye twins. In this book, we'll get to know more about Henry Green, what brought him to London, and the events prior to the game, with the story syncing up with the events and conclusion of Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

So that's about it for my Dream Crate, and it was really fun for me to put these all together as a huge fan of the series. I'd like to thank Loot Crate for the opportunity to come up with our own Dream Crate. Watch out for Parts 2 and 3 for my teammates Josh and Daniel's Dream Crates too! Let us know your thoughts as well, and if you think I missed something that should be part of this list, just let us know in the comments below! :)
