Ever wondered what it feels to play hit PSP titles on your PS3? Missed that Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker because you had a PS3 instead of a PS3? Well don't fret! Sony has announced the PSP Remaster Series, an upcoming lineup of PSP titles, remastered specifically for the PS3! That means selected PSP games will be remade with HD graphics, additional content and many more! Excited much? Read on.
According to Andria Sang, Sony has announced the PSP Remaster Series, which intends to offer classic PSP titles, to be remastered and played on the PS3. Remastered games will be recreated with HD graphics and visuals, Dual Shock support, additional content, 3D support, and game save sharing so you can take your game on your PSP too even if you're playing it on your PS3, just to name a few.
The Remaster Series will come first in Japan, and the first title to be announced for the series is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, to be remastered as Monster Portable HD. Check out the video below which features some comparison footage:
