According to a report on The Next Web, it was confirmed that Angry Birds will also be released as a Facebook game this coming May. According to Rovio's CEO, Mikael Hed, the game will feature “completely new aspects to it that just haven’t been experienced in any other platform" and will utilize Facebook's social networking aspect and "collaborative nature", which will give the pigs "a more prominent role".
From this, we might be able to see the pigs in action now rather than just standing inside obstacles and structures. We might also see a leaderboard style feature, so you and your Facebook friends can brag and compare your scores.
