News: PSN is Down... for Maintenance

If you've been trying to log in to PSN, you're in tough luck. The PSN is down again, but don't worry though, it's not because of another hack, but the service is scheduled for maintenance. Read on for details.
The PlayStation network is down for maintenance today, July 6, 2011 at 00:00 AM - 1:00 AM GMT (8:00AM - 9:00AM Philippine Time). No details were provided in the PlayStation Community forums regarding the maintenance.

There have been rumors also that the PSN will be revamped to make it easier for users to navigate the page. According to a rumor report on Kotaku, PSN will be redesigned to focus more on images, and make it less text heavy. It was also rumored to include a new search function, an improved movie section, and a new "Deals of the Week" section.

Let's just wait and see until the update is complete. It should have been finished by now, but it's taking longer than expected. Come on, I want to download Medievil!
