Welcome to the Electronic Playground!

After two years away from blogging, The Electronic Playground is now live!

First of all, I want to thank you for dropping by and visiting this  tiny little spot in the blogosphere. As an avid gamer since the age of four (yes your read it right), I decided to put up this blog in order to chronicle my gaming life. Not only only that, I would also like to share with you the hottest electronic gaming knowledge, news, reviews, previews and gaming tips.


It was really hard to decide the name of this blog. If you could see, the URL above is not the name of my blog. Actually, that's because it's the original name. After many revisions to the name, I decided to to name it "The Digital Playground". But googling it pointed me to a very nasty site. >:)


Electronic Playground came from the term "electronic gaming". Instead of "video gaming", I use this term because "Video Gaming" or "Computer Gaming" does not cut it anymore. Video and computer games have transcended platforms and Electronic gaming is something that we now all share. It might be on your favorite console, trash talking your enemies in Call of Duty. Or you might be on your mobile playing Angry Birds, hoping that those nasty green pigs will somehow roll and fall to their deaths. On facebook perhaps playing your favorite browser based game such as Farmville. It seems that in this day and age, electronic gaming has already touched the lives of almost everyone.


Anyways, enough with the intro, lets get this playground fired up. =)
