George Romero, father of "pretty-much-anything of the Dead" movies, team up with Treyarch and Activition in the upcoming zombies map entitled "Call of the Dead", along with a vampire slayer, machete wielding warrior, former Freddie Krueger, and star of upcoming TV adaptation of "The Walking Dead". This is gonna be one hell of a star studded, zombie slaying action!

The upcoming Escalation Map pack for Call of Duty Black Ops will once again include a new map for the Zombies game mode. This time, instead of WWII soldiers battling hordes of zombies, you will take the role of one of four star studded cast of Danny Trejo (Machete Cortez, Machete), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger, A Nightmare on Elm Street Films) and Michael Rooker (Merle Dixon, The Walking Dead TV Adaptation) in "Call of the Dead".

Set in a remote Siberian Island, with a story inspired by zombie master George Romero, this zombie slaying team will battle hordes of the undead. Call of the Dead is included the Escalation Map Pack, along with four other new maps. The map pack will be available for download first on the Xbox 360 on May 3, 2011 for 1200 Microsoft Points. No announcement yet as to how much and when will it be available for other platforms.
